The Ministry of National Defense expressed today (10th) that, as of 0900 hours, over 10 fighter jets of various models from the East Combat Zone of the People’s Liberation Army have participated in far-offshore training, cutting across the Miyako Strait from north to south. Amongst which were 4 electronic surveillance jets that travelled across the Bashi Channel to encircle our southern territorial airspace under the protection of the air force fighters from the Combat Zone of the People’s Liberation Army, completing the training exercise at 1310 hours. The R.O.C. military had maintained a close surveillance throughout the entire process and prepared the necessary responses, so the public has no need to be concerned.
